My friend advised me that Maria practised Acupuncture at The Medical. I had been researching the treatment because I had heard that it can help with infertility and I have a condition called Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS). At first the thought of needles being put into my body was quite scary but I actually found my treatment with Maria very relaxing, it helped me immensely with my pre-menstrual/hormonal imbalance.
After several sessions of acupuncture I was delighted
to discover that after 18 months of trying to conceive I
was pregnant! Without a doubt I know that this was because of
the acupuncture that I received from Maria. I continued with the
acupuncture until I was 5 months pregnant, and Maria also
helped with my hay fever symptoms as I was unable to take this
medication whilst I was pregnant.
I've recommended acupuncture to many friends since my experience
and I'm still amazed that acupuncture can help with so many
complaints within the human body.
